The Visionary is the miner of soul's gold among the nine major personality types. Students of the enneagram tradition will recognize the Visionary as the "Type 4."
I believe the Visionary is also something we all inherit as a capability built into our own being at birth. So it's not just a personality type for especially gifted people; it is a set of genetic tools to help us each consider the legacy we wish to leave, in every detail. The Visionary's path helps us find, within our own being, every nuance of beauty and ugliness our spirit has the capacity to consider. Without such first-hand clarity of vision, there would be no such thing as consciously voluntary love, nor any certainty of self. No certainty, no passion. No passion, no certainty. You can't rush perfection, but you can sure make a slow journey satisfy perfectly, all along the way. That's passion and certainty.
I believe a story will provide you with a better glimpse of the energies at play in personality than any personality test or written profile will ever be able to convey.
